The name “South Pavilion” draws inspiration from Wang Xizhi’s Preface to the Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion. As the pavilion is located in Tainan, it was named the “South Pavilion.”

Here, we have carefully selected seasonal Taiwanese teas, accompanied by pastries made with local ingredients. With tea in place of wine, guests are invited to experience the refined pleasures evoked in the Preface to the Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion: flourishing woods and tall bamboo, a gathering of distinguished guests, and wine cups drifting along a winding stream.
